I’m Mark. Brief bio: wilderness guide, college majors in biology and chemistry, surgeon/surgical oncologist, trained in Level 1 trauma center, mission field in Cameroon 1978-79, mission support hospital in Haiti every January for 9 years (we were there during the earthquake), military – army then air national guard, expert marksman – M9, ham radio operator – extra class. Living in austere conditions has taught me that no one survives alone. We all need a supportive community. Good to find this like-minded community! Faculty advisor to university ham radio club. We studied the electrical grid with electrical engineers several years ago. The grid will fail, so I prepare.
